The presentation will give a brief explanation of RFID technology. The various types of tags and readers will be discussed to give everyone an overview of these technology components.
The majority of the presentation will focus on decision of Rollpak investigating RFID and the two pilot programs Rollpak has completed as well as an overview of the final supply chain system now under development.

Preceding the main topic presentation there will be a session on Laughter, healing with laughter and the role of emotions and attitudes in health and happiness.

Alan R. Wyne is CIO for Rollpak Corporation in Goshen, IN. He comes with a diverse background in business and has a Business Administration degree from Goshen College. Alan has spent the last 13 years in the IT world designing and writing software systems.
During his time as a programmer, he has written systems for data collection, accounting, production scheduling, data mining, and various reporting systems. His most recent system is a fully integrated production management system running on a wireless network which eliminated needless paperwork from the production floor and significantly reduced the amount finished goods inventory.
Having completed 2 RFID pilot programs he is now working on an RFID-based supply chain system with hopes of implementing the system by mid 2006.
