We launch the 1999-2000 Professional Development season, with our Purchasing Management partners, on a subject that brings our two separate organizations together in a single job function role that of the Buyer/Planner. This session focuses on the progress this Harley-Davidson division is making in converting to a buyer/planner role, and specific performance advantages achieved from this change. Mr. Robinson will review the Harley-Davidson Parts and Accessories Division:

David Robinson, CPIM, CIRM, CPM, Harley Davidson Motor Company is the Manager, Supply Management, Parts and Accessories group. He has been involved in the field of Supply Chain Management for ten years, with experience in purchasing, inventory management, and forecasting with Harley-Davidson as well as agricultural, construction, material handling, and mining equipment industries. David has experience in the apparel and publishing industries in purchasing and planning roles. He serves on the board of the Milwaukee APICS Chapter , and teaches certification review courses there. He is a member of the National Association of Purchasing Management. David holds an MBA from Marquette University, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Operations Management from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh
