Craig MacNab was born and raised in Rochester, New York. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama from Ithaca College, Ithaca, New York. He has been a professional actor and stage manager. Drafted into the Army, he became a field artillery commander and staff officer and while serving, undertook graduate studies, culminating in a Master of Arts in English. Served as an Assistant Professor, Department of English, U.S.M.A., West Point. He was a U.S. Army public affairs officer and ended his Army career as Plans officer, Department of Defense Public Affairs as a Lieutenant Colonel.
Relocating to South Bend, he has been head of Public Relations at AM General for the past fifteen years.
He is also proud to claim that he has seven children aged 34 to 22- five female, two male, three grandchildren, one 2nd Lieutenant, two actors, one chef and he states - "These numbers are estimates" he says. "They are hard to count because they won't stand still."
