Claude Renshaw  is a professor in the department of Business Administration and Economics at Saint Mary's College at Notre Dame. Mr Renshaw has been quoted in USA Today and is a regular guest on local television and radio shows during tax season. A Certified Public Accountant, Renshaw describes taxes as the 'ketchup on the Beef Wellington of life.' His expertise is virtually unmatched, and few people can make the subject so palatable! In addition to his success as an educator, during tax season, Mr. Renshaw co-writes the Tax Talk column for the South Bend Tribune. He teaches seminars on tax law to fellow accountatnts and operates a consulting practice speacializing in tax and financial planning. A frequent speaker on business issues; Renshaw has also helped coordinate the tax assistance program where students from Saint Mary's college help low-income citizens complete their tax returns. Among his seminar clients have been wells Fargo Bank, Crowe Chizek, McGladrey and Pullen, Price Waterouse Coopers, National Steel, and Memorial Hospital of South Bend, to name a few.

Renshaw has been teaching at Saint Mary's College since 1977. He received his Bachelors and MBA from Michigan State University. The American Woman's Society of CPA's (AWSCPA) named him the 2004 Educator of the Year. This prestigious sward recognizes excellences in teaching in the field of accounting by a faculty member at a two-year or four-year college. He was also named Indiana Accounting Advocate of the Year by the Small Business Administration in 1998.
