Charles Popik, CFPIM instruction blends manufacturing and logistics experience and techniques with a rigorous academic background. He is presently the Instructor of Manufacturing Technology at Everett Community College and an independent consultant in manufacturing resource management to local high tech companies. His engineering education began at the U. S. Naval Academy followed by practitioner and management positions in Methods and Standards Engineering and operations analysis. Following twenty-two years of logistics management and training experience on an international scale, in 1979 Chuck joined the Seattle area electronics industry as Production and Inventory control manager of three high tech companies and as an active member of the APICS Seattle education team. As a senior manufacturing or project manager, Chuck has guided the MRP II implementations of seven organizations. He earned his BS degree in 1957 and a MBA from Harvard in 1969. Chuck has six years of full time teaching experience at the college level, adjunct faculty experience teaching graduate financial management and has served as acting dean of a graduate level professional management school.
